FIBREBOARD MATERIALS

Fibreboard is made of layers of cellulosic materials, bonded by binders under high pressure and temperatures into a firm and hard sheeting material.

Fibreboards are used in shoemaking mainly for reinforcing the waist and heel seat area of the insole. Various grades of fibreboard are available for different types of insoles.

Applications in general industries include for example filing folders, gaskets, architectural modeling, pattern cutting, reinforcement of leathergoods etc.
