RELION

Relion® is a thermoplastic counter material, produced by copolymer extrusion.

Relion® has exceptional mechanical features and provides very flexible and elastic properties. It has high resiliency and long-lasting shape retention and is suitable for all types of footwear. It has also been used as an insole in orthopedic footwear.

1. Warm insertion method
   The cut, skived counter can be warmed on a hot plate or flash activation machine until it becomes soft and pliable before inserting into the counter pocket for backpart moulding.
2. Cold insertion method
   The cut, skived and dimple moulded counter is loose inserted as a conventional thermoplastic material and preheated by clamp activation for 5-10 sec at 130°C.

Relion® G is impregnated by a general purpose G-adhesive and available in thicknesses from 0.70 mm up to 1.50mm.
