TALYN

TALYN is an extruded material for toe puffs, with a "ping-pong" effect and an excellent shape resiliency.

TALYN range is available in a soft version with general purpose adhesive or polyurethane adhesive with two backers.

A hard version is also available with normal adhesive or polyurethane adhesive with two backers.

1. Warm application method
   The cut, skived toe puff can be warmed on a hot plate or flash activation machine until it becomes soft and pliable before pressing it onto the underside of the vamp prior to conditioning for toe lasting.
2. Cold insertion method
   The cut, skived toe puff is loose placed on the underside of the vamp and pressed on by a toe puff fusing press for 5-10 sec at 180°C. The forepart of the shoe needs to be conditioned up to approx. 60°C prior to toe lasting.

Talyn is available from 0.35 mm up to 1.45 mm thickness.
